Where to Book Travel These Days?
Posted by Travel Expert at 19:54 | Filed In Booking Travel | Add a Comment
These days it has gotten even more confusing to book travel. Beyond Websites like Priceline, there are dozens of Websites like Travelocity and Orbitz. There are also aggregator Websites such as Kayak.com and BookingBuddy.com which take a commission of sales made. There are Websites run by airlines, hotels, and rental car companies. There are still travel agents, although not as many as in earlier years.
Which route should you take when booking a trip? We’d say start with the direct Website or phone number of companies you’re sure you want to book. Check their rates, and then compare on other sites like those above, Hotwire.com, or Cheaptickets.com.
If you have special requests or need personalized help, call a travel agent.
For sure, it does take some research these days to decide where to book travel.
