What to Look for in a Good Airline to Fly On
Posted by Travel Expert at 04:31 | Filed In Airlines
People invariably have different standards when it comes to choosing the best airplane to fly on. For example, during the course of a flight, one passenger may declare the flight the best one he had been on while another will say that it was the worst flight ever. So how do you measure those standards of what make a good airline based on this relativity? Well, since the standards of different people vary, there are steps you need to take first before you can choose the best airline for you:
1. Look around – you need to browse different offers of airlines to determine the best offer that is available right now. You can also try to fly an airline you had not been in before even if you are already on the loyalty club of another so widen your options.
2. Make reservations – you will know how seriously an airline takes its customer service based on the promptness of their response when you make reservations. If you are not satisfied with their service at this point then it might be a good idea to choose another airline.
3. Check the gate – look at the number of attendants at the gate, if there is only one attendant that is seeing to the needs of all the passengers of a full flight then chances are, there is also a limited manpower inside the plane.

4. Look at the seats – some people prefer an airline that is not crowded but if there are too many empty seats, be suspicious because lay-offs may be coming so that roomy comfort you enjoy right now won’t last.
5. Check out the value-added service – there are many extras that airlines can provide for the convenience of their passengers. Some include an entertainment system, reading lights, and lavatories that are in good condition. If an airline meets these criteria then it is definitely a good area to fly on.
6. Attitude of employees – if you experience happy and pleasant attendants then the airline carrier probably treats them fairly as well. This is something you need to look into if you want to take advantage of long term great customer service.
7. Look at the club – club members sometimes have great privileges regular passengers don’t have so if you plan to fly frequently then it might be a good idea to look at the club services of an airline and see if it suits your taste.
8. Safety – of course, when flying an airline, your safety is a major concern so look into the security measure that the airline implements to be sure of your safety.
